A group of technology enthusiasts with backgrounds in engineering and aviation, we collaborate to define our experiments and carry them out between the ground and the middle layers of the stratosphere using lighter-than-air flight technology.

Near Space Technology

Taking learnings from SL-1, we launched an improved capsule in Flagstaff, AZ. While not all aspects proved  perfect, the ultimate outcome was exceptional.

More learnings from SL-2, we launched a lighter payload with a larger parachute in Laramie, WY. Strong surface winds posed a challenge, but  the mission was a complete success.

V2 Capsule under development.

?

This was our first "Sol et Luna" project. We launched a weather balloon with a payload attached that was designed to be a stable platform for high altitude photography.  Our experiments in this mission taught us a great deal.
